The expanded dining room at campus-area gastropub Hopfields is finally complete, giving patrons the option either of ordering from the bar for the first-come, first-serve communal seating area up front, or getting table service in the back.
In a press statement sent this week, owner Bay Anthon said the expansion was an opportunity "for our menu to shine and step out of the shadow of our beer program." And he gives props to his staff, who stepped up for the transition: "It feels like opening day all over again."
Reservations are encouraged at lunch for parties of ten or more, or during dinner hours: 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
