Who Are Austin's Brightest Young Industry Stars?

New, 1 comment

eater-young-guns-2012.pngJust two weeks after calling for Eater Young Guns 2013 submissions, Eater's got 1,400 nominations ... but that doesn't mean y'all should stop feeding this award-giving beast. The aim of Young Guns, which launched last year with the inaugural 16-person class, is to identify the most promising up-and-comers in the restaurant and nightlife world, whether they're working as chefs or line cooks, sommeliers or bartenders, restaurateurs or maître d's.

Nominees must be under 30 years of age (or have worked in their chosen field for less than five years) and must be currently employed in the hospitality industry in the United States. Though you most likely haven't yet heard their names, they must show extraordinary promise.

We're asking for your nominations right here, and you've got until March 15th to tell us who you think should be in this year's class of Young Guns. If you have additional supporting materials, please send them our way at youngguns@eater.com.
