The Hi Hat Public House opened in the former Braise space on East Sixth Street in late 2012, and they're now serving one of the best selections of craft beer in Austin. Local musician Steve Schrader owns the place, and patrons can enjoy live jazz along with their "Lunar Brunch" or a nice pint of Firestone Walker to help wash down all that Southern comfort food.
Eater Austin sent photographer Spencer Selvidge out to the Hi Hat to get a look at the space, complete with a light fixture made out of a drum kit. They're open Tuesday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Friday from 4 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
