You may be surprised to learn that the Austin restaurant real estate situation is rather robust. We have a bunch of chains to thank for that, according to the Austin Business Journal which notes that in2012, "restaurants were some of the most active retailers" in town, highlighting the openings of: a fourth Opal Divine's, Dallas-based Gloria's downtown, BJ's Brewhouse in Round Rock, Snap Kitchen and others.
