Ted Prater of Banger's Is Austin's Hottest Chef

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Ted Prater of Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden, your pick for Eater Austin's hottest chef of 2013! He and his sexy overalls triumphed over a passel of hot local chefs to take the title. He joins an illustrious pair of past winners, ginger-haired Kurt "The Irish Chef" Ramborger and blue-eyed hunk Taff Mayberry.

Congratulations to all the chefs who were nominated, and take heart: Ted's not eligible to win next year, so keep those eyes on the mostly nominal prize.

UPDATE: Prater's real happy he won, and he's such a swell guy, he wants to celebrate with all the finalists: "Let's be honest, I wasn't the prettiest dog in that race but I did have the best looking overalls of the bunch and I think that kind of gave me an edge over my competitors. Since the playing field wasn't exactly level I'd like to invite all the finalists over to Banger's for dinner and beers on me."
