The forthcoming Umami Mia Pizzeria, taking over the old Romeo's space on Barton Springs, inches ever closer to opening—here's their as-yet minimalist Facebook page and a tongue-tastic logo, at right. The proprietors are Austin restaurant veterans Mark Turner and Rick Engel of Austin Java and Lil' Woodrows, alongside Zen's Adam Weisberg. Former Soleil chef George Thomas (also a veteran of Paggi House, Kenichi and Imperia) will run the kitchen. [Eaterwire]
