Pieous Opens for Sweet and Savory Pies (Pizza And Otherwise) at Lunch and Dinner

Pieous, the southwest side pie-focused restaurant in the old Cartwright's Famous BBQ spot has officially opened as of 11 a.m. today. And when owner Joshua Kaner says pies, he means all the kinds of the pies:

"PIEOUS is devoted to great food....and you guessed it, we're going to be serving pies, both authentic wood fired Neapolitan ones with house made mozzarella and fruit and cream pies...to make things even more delicious and to utilize the space that was the old Cartwright's BBQ, we'll be smoking some great pastrami and pizza toppings. We house make and bake sourdough breads, all our salads are really fresh and we house-make our dressings."
They're open today for lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and for dinner from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.—complete with beer and wine on tap.
