Lucky J's Chicken & Waffles Brick and Mortar Location Closed; Food Trucks Still Open

Lucky J's Chicken and Waffles has shuttered their brick and mortar location on Burnet Road. Last week on Twitter, they noted landlord troubles. The truck mini-chain now has two trucks at the Mohawk, as well as one at East 6th and Waller. This summer, they also opened a location in Montauk, NY, that appears to be closed for the season. Their Austin brick and mortar location opened back in February of 2011.
