Gus's Fried Chicken, a Tennessee import whose fried chickeny goodness has inspired at least one fistfight, is now looking to open downtown in early January. Owner Brad Blodgett says:
"We are just finishing up our licensing process and are hopeful that we'll be open right after the first of the year."Previously, the hotly anticipated fried chicken joint had hoped to open in late October or early November. Gus's is also currently hiring an assistant manager.
