Chef Shuffles at Josephine House, Salt & Time as Chef Power Couple Leaves Austin

A double chef shuffle is afoot now that power couple Jen and Alex Jackson have left Austin for San Francisco. Jen Jackson was chef de cuisine at Josephine House, and Alex Jackson was the executive chef at butcher shop Salt & Time. Owner Ben Runkle of Salt & Time says current chef Josh Jones is taking over their kitchen.

"Alex was a huge part of getting us up and running, and he's done a great job guiding the kitchen as we've grown and changed. We're sad to see him go, but also completely confident in Josh, and are excited to see what he has in store. Josh and Alex have worked together incredibly closely for the last year and a half, so I don't expect to see any major changes, but there will be nuanced differences between their two styles."
