Due Forni Firing Up Twin Pizza Ovens December 12

Vegas-based pizza specialists Due Forni will be opening their Austin outpost on December 12. Due Forni means "two ovens" in Italian, and it refers to the restaurant's twin ovens that allow them to execute both Roman and Neapolitan-style pies at ideal temperatures. The pizza was recently voted the best pizza in Vegas by Eater readers, and the restaurant is also known for their extensive wine program.

Owner Alex Taylor is a graduate of UT's McCombs School of Business and previously told Eater that "Texas was always our first choice for expansion." Also, don't worry: the restaurant has performed the traditional pre-opening shaman cleansing.
