Make. Eat. Drink. Pop-Up Dinner; Meatball Festival; Windy Hill Farm's Goat a Thing

EAST SIDE — Shion Aikawa of Ramen Tatsu-Ya, Grae Nonas and Michael Fojtasek of Olamiae, and Elyse Hoang of Sway Thai are teaming up with five Austin artists to throw a series of pop-up dinners during the E.A.S.T. studio tour. Called Make. Eat. Drink., the dinners will feature custom-made plates and tables by local Austin artists, including Keith Kreeger, who made the plate pictured on the left. The dinner will have three seatings on Thursday, November 21st at Canopy Austin. Tickets can be purchased here. [Eaterwire]

WEST SIXTH — The first annual Austin Meatball Festival will be held on Saturday, November 23 at Winflo Osteria from 11-4pm. Participating restaurants include Benji's Cantina, Mulberry, Max's Wine Dive, and more. The competition/festival will benefit nonprofits Fresh Chefs Society and Citizen Generation.
