Over the weekend, a sign appeared outside of Dirty-Sixth-adjacent Minibar that proclaimed, "I like my beer like I like my violence: Domestic." The sign hit Reddit, where commenters pointed out that, besides the horrific analogy, the sign was also branded by Heineken, an import. The next morning, a new sign had appeared promising to donate $1 of every domestic beer sale to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. On their Facebook page, a Minibar representative explains that they had no idea the sign was posted outside, and once it was "brought to our attention" the responsible employee "was released."
