SOUTH LAMAR — Gourdough's Public House is celebrating a year of doughnutty goodness with a Halloween party. Activities include "a fortune teller, bearded lady, ringmaster, karaoke, photo booth, face painting, bobbing for Jello shots and more--all while scary movies play on the many TVs scattered throughout the venue." DOWNTOWN — Forthcoming restaurant Vox Table is hosting a pop-up dinner at the Austonian on Wednesday November 6 from 7-10pm. The project is helmed by Vox Restaurant Group and Joe Anguiano, who was previously Executive Chef at Eleven Plates + Wine. This will be the first of several pop-ups before their Spring 2014 opening.
