SOCO — Virginia Wood charts the history of Vespaio, which is celebrating its fifteenth anniversary today. The name, which means beehive, was inspired by the live bees that flew out of a wall during renovation. MANOR ROAD — El Chile is officially re-opening in their old Manor Road location on the date of their tenth anniversary, October 23. Owner Carlos Rivero says El Chile "has grown too big for one location." Executive Chef Jeff Martinez will also be updating the existing menu for the reopening. Eater originally reported the reopening plans last week, as well as the "temporary" shuttering of nearby Flat Top Burger Shop, which is owned by Rivero as well. [Eaterwire]
EAST SIDE — Sonya Cote's Eden East at Springdale Farm is celebrating the fall cool down with expanded hours. The outdoor restaurant on a working farm will now serve a Thursday dinner, in addition to Friday and Saturday. They will also launch a "Second Sunday" brunch November 10.
