New Lockout at Mastman's; Owner Says It's 'Just Delays'

Mastman's Deli, a kosher deli and restaurant which was originally scheduled to open downtown last October, is still suffering from some serious opening woes. The landlord has posted another lockout notice on the door, after Mastman's was previously locked out last month. Mastman's owner David Rosen says the restaurant is suffering from "just more delays" and they are "in the process of a legal settlement with an ex-investor which will shortly remedy any lease issues." When Eater spoke with Rosen last month, he said Mastman's is shooting for a "late December" opening.
