FOOD TV — Tomorrow night at 8:30p on the Cooking Channel, you can catch Rainey Street Texas beer mecca Craft Pride and at least one of the ladies from popular beer blog Bitch Beer on the new show Log On & Eat with Eden Grinshpan, which is all about meeting "outrageous food bloggers" and "tweeters." The description: "Eden connects with the popular 'Bitch Beer' blogger and her bearded friends for chicken and waffles and the best beer in Texas." [Eaterwire]

DESSERTWIRE — CultureMap's staff lists their top desserts in Austin in celebration of fake food holiday "National Dessert Day." Their picks include the chevre tart at Fabi+Rosi, Mrs. Johnson's donuts, and Fonda San Miguel's Flande Almendra, as well as the chocolate mousse at Whole Foods and the Laura-Sawicki-created Dulce de Leche at La Condesa.

EAST AUSTIN — Miss chefs-about-town Rene Ortiz and Laura Sawicki's creations? They'll both be cooking at this year's Austin stop of "roving food adventure" Outstanding in the Field. The event will be held at Rain Lily Farm on Wednesday, October 23 at 2pm, and tickets are available here. The chefs' menu is posted below.
