ACL WIRE — Headed to ACL this weekend? Be sure to check out Eater's map of the top 18 spots to eat near Zilker Park. For those sticking to the Austin Eats food court, Eater has a full ACL eating schedule for all your dining, snacking, and drinking needs. [EATX]

ACL BEERWIRE — The Chronicle calls ACL's new craft beer hall "a good meeting place to catch up with your friends." The 15 craft beers available and huge footballs screens meant the space was "packed," but "the lines were never long" and the bartenders were "friendly." At $8 a cup, chilling in the shady tent isn't cheap. [Chronicle]

SOUTHEAST — Ditching ACL? Independence Brewing Company is celebrating their 9th Anniversary on Saturday, October 12 from 4:20-8:20pm (see what they did there?) at the brewery, rain or shine. There will be special "beer tappings" every half hour, food from Pretty Thai for a White Guy, and patrons can pay $5 to dunk "Founder Amy Cartwright and Head Brewer Brannon Radicke in a pool of beer." Independence is located at 3913 Todd Lane, just off of Ben White. [Eaterwire]
