Remember that time everyone crapped their cargo shorts over Restaurant Jezebel's jacket-required policy? It sounds like Paul Qui's about to out-fancy even the dressiest dress code. He tells CultureMap he'll use a ticketing system for the tasting room at Qui, his east side flagship restaurant set to open this spring. Think something a la Chicago's three-Michelin-starred Alinea:
That's going to be a separate, more private spot that will be reservation only. We'll have it on a ticketing system similar to what you see at Alinea in Chicago. But I'm going to start out slow. But the ticket system is a ways out; Qui goes on to say that the larger, 50-seat dining room will open first for dinner, and then lunch, after which will come the tasting room, "only when we're ready."
