Brothers Mike and Hadi Yassine, former owners of a slew of downtown nightclubs that shuttered after a federal raid last year resulted in drug, gun and money laundering charges, have been sentenced. Mike Yassine will serve 12.5 years for his money laundering conviction, while Hadi Yassine will serve five years for lesser money laundering charges. A third brother, Steve, pleaded guilty to drug charges in October. Yassine Enterprises was behind Kiss & Fly, Qua, Treasure Island and several other downtown drinking spots. [KVUE]
