Antone's To Move, Citing Crappy Downtown Parking Sitch

Historic downtown music venue Antone's will pack up its gear after South By Southwest this March. YNN reports that the club isn't closing forever but rather relocating to an as-yet undisclosed location, via Antone's spokesperson Frank Hendrix:

Mr. Hendrix cites decreasing attendance and customers complaining about the unavailability of downtown parking as reasons behind the move. Although unconfirmed, YNN's Andy Langer reports the most likely new location is south of the river— Emo's and the Beauty Ballroom have already relocated to bigger locations on East Riverside.

Moving is nothing especially new for Antone's—the original location opened on Sixth Street in 1975, and the current location at 5th Street and Lavaca, which opened in 1997, is the third iteration of the venue.
