For all the extreme locavores out there, Dai Due chef Jesse Griffiths has a new cook book coming out just in time for hunting season. Afield: A Chef's Guide to Preparing and Cooking Wild Game and Fish will be released September 18th with a foreword from Andrew Zimmern and photos by Austin photographer Jody Horton. The book "combines traditional methods of field dressing, butchering, and preparing fish and game with eighty-five rustic mouthwatering recipes." [Eaterwire]
