Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden opens today on Rainey Street, bringing 103 beer taps (well, technically, two cask firkins and 101 taps) and house-made sausage to the downtown nightlife district. Banger's calls itself a "(m)eatery," serving 30 sausages on rotation from the "greatest list de link" in Texas, according to the pun-tastic press release they sent around last week.

If the restaurant's interior design looks especially stylish, you can thank your good eye for noticing the work of Mickie Spencer of East Side Showroom and Hillside Farmacy fame. The beer garden also features an off-leash dog park. Intrigued? Meander through Eater Austin photographer Spencer Selvidge's virtual tour of the restaurant, above.

Official banging hours will be Sundays through Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Thursdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m.
