The Noble Pig's About To Have The Best Summer Ever

The Noble Pig is gearing up to have a hell of a summer: Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives will air its episode featuring the North Austin sandwich shop and deli on June 11th on the Food Network, while former Man vs. Food host Alan Richman fawns over the Pig's seared beef tongue sandwich on his Best Sandwich In America show. Richman told DFW.com yesterday that the sandwich is "life-changing."

I actually had gone there to try a completely different sandwich, the duck pastrami. But I happened to ask the guy behind the counter, 'What do you like?' And he said, 'Oh, man, you've got to try the tongue. And get it with a fried egg on it.' And let me tell you, it's so superb. It's, like, life-changing.
