Larry McGuire To Open Clark's, A Clarksville Oyster Bar

Austin restaurateur extraordinaire Larry McGuire just can't be stopped: Fresa's Chicken Al Carbon opened in April, he's just taken over Jeffrey's in Clarksville for a totally old-school revamp, and now he's got his sights set on an oyster bar on Sixth Street, west of Lamar.

McGuire confirms with Texas Monthly what he told Eater Austin last month about the small, neighborhood oyster bar, which he says will be called Clark's. According to McGuire, it'll be a "little brother to Perla's" and will go into the old Portabla space at 1200 West Sixth Street.
