The new East Side King menu at utopian dive bar Shangri-La looks divine. Paul Qui has kept the most popular buns on the menu (chicken skin, “pho,” and avocado), and he’s added some other goodies like Ebi Ebi Tacos with shrimp tempura. We’re excited about the Tongue on Rice. From the menu:
Sous-vide beef tongue on steamed ginger garlic Jasmine rice, caramelized onion and jalapeño, kewpie mayo, Tonkatsu sauce, ponzu salsa, basil, mint, cilantro, and lime
