A Slow, Sad Farewell At The Closing East Side Drive-In

Truck by truck, the trailers anchoring the East Side Drive-In food park are making their way to new homes as the space will soon be cleared so developers can build condos along East Sixth Street. Today, the Bits & Druthers truck departed, and the Mati Greek Trailer flew their flag at half-mast in their honor.

Meanwhile, Pig Vicious will be departing for an as-yet-unspecified brick-and-mortar establishment. Per a Facebook post:

Looks like we're gonna be leaving our current home. Maybe this week, maybe in 2 months. Whatever the case, the East Side Drive In is slated for condo's and we are planning on moving into what we like to call a brick and mortar. Yeah. Food, booze and music all under our own roof!
