Austin Restaurant Week will lure prix fixe-loving diners into a selection of high-end Austin restaurants from March 25-28 and April 1-4 this year. The event, sponsored by US Foods, Hahn Family Wines and Tribeza, will benefit Austin's Meals on Wheels and More. Today, they announced the list of 2012 participants via press-release. The basics:

With a host of Austin’s favorite restaurants participating, including Uchiko, Eleven Plates and Wine and Haddington’s, Austin Restaurant Week diners will be privy to special prix-fixe menus designed exclusively for Austin Restaurant Week. Menus will feature three-course dinner options ($26-$36), two-course lunch options ($11-$16) and brunch menus ($16-$21), which include a complimentary cocktail or non-alcoholic specialty beverage.

ARW announces lineup of local foodie favorites and newest restaurant additions

AUSTIN, TX (MARCH 2012) – Once the dust has settled in Austin from the SXSW whirlwind this year, locals can kick back, relax and enjoy their favorite biannual foodie event with Austin Restaurant Week Spring 2012, brought forth by US Foods, Hahn Family Wines and Tribeza. The two week culinary event, taking place March 25 - 28 and April 1 - 4, allows diners to come together to experience the best of Austin’s restaurant scene at prices that make it acceptable for date night at their leisure. Throughout the two-week feasting fest, a fixed dollar donation will go to this year’s benefactor, Austin’s very own Meals on Wheels and More.

“Austin Restaurant Week is such an incredible event; not only do you get to enjoy the finest restaurants in town for much less than you would normally spend, but you also help feed some of our community’s most vulnerable citizens”, says Dan Pruett, President and CEO of Meals on Wheels and More.

The festivities will begin with a kick-off party at Max’s Wine Dive on Monday, March 19 from 5 – 7 p.m., welcoming social, food-loving Austinites from throughout the city to celebrate the start of Austin’s favorite foodie event.

Since its inception, ARW Ventures has worked hard to make Austin Restaurant Week a welcoming event that brings the Austin culinary community together each year for a great cause and excellent cuisine.
