Bar Louie Chain To Open With Specials March 17th

Nationwide restaurant and bar chain Bar Louie will officially open its second Texas location downtown in the old Starr Building at Sixth Street and Colorado on March 17th.

According to a press release, the joint that describes itself as a "casually cool neighborhood restaurant & bar" will give Travis County residents a free small plate and martini during opening week. You know, 'cause they're a neighborhood bar. As for the menu:

This eclectic urban bar made famous for their handcrafted signature martinis and cocktails, also features an exceptional selection of distinctly prepared food such as small plates, sandwiches and burgers. While beer and wine connoisseurs will be impressed with the extensive selection of imports, microbrews and over 20 wines by the glass, cocktail drinkers will revel in signature martinis, mojitos and margaritas made from the highest quality ingredients, fresh fruit and hand squeezed juices.
They'll be open for lunch, dinner and late-night snacks from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day.
