The gaggle of bars that shuttered earlier this year with the federal raid on downtown nightclub owners Yassine Enterprises may be closer to re-opening. The hold-up? Convicted money launderer Mike Yassine's liquor licenses, which have to be canceled before new bar owners can open up in his old clubs and serve booze. Still, "it's unclear when the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Comission will be able to issue new permits for the bars." [ABJ]
