DOWNTOWN — Downtown's cocktail-focused speakeasy, Midnight Cowboy, is offering itself up as a New Year's Eve refuge for revelers. They're selling $75 come-and-go tickets for the night, which includes three drinks and light snacks. Ticket-holders can venture out onto Sixth Street but duck into Midnight Cowboy for a break at any time. [Eaterwire]

NORTH CAMPUS — Fancy a fancy beer? Tonight, Hopfields is pairing "Jester King's rendition of the ancient Viking beer Gotlandsdricka" with a "wild" charcuterie plate. $10 gets a 12-oz pour and the pairing and a complimentary Jester King take-home glass for the first orders, while supplies last.
