This Monday, Eater will present the Eater Awards 2012, a celebration of all that's made America's restaurant world run—and run wild—in the past twelve months. Winners will be selected on both the local and national levels in six major categories, the voting for which began yesterday with our Chef of the Year 2012 poll.
Here's how it works: Eater editors have named nominees for Chef of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, So Hot Right Now, Bartender of the Year and our new category, Stone Cold Stunner an award for excellence in restaurant aesthetics. Eater readers will vote, narrowing the nominees to three finalists. From those three finalists, the Eater editorial team will select a winner.
Ready to play your part once again? Polls are open now for Restaurant of the Year and will close in 24 hours when a new poll will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Voting irregularities will be strictly policed.
