In the television industry's ongoing quest to provide only the highest quality, edifying programming for the American viewing public, Austin's Bikinis chain of breastaurants might be getting its own reality show. It seems the prospect of a show centering around restaurateur Doug Guller's newly acquired city of Bikinis, Texas was too good to pass up. The Austin Business Journal reports that Guller says that some producer people are interested in maybe doing a show on him that they pitched to some networks that could be interested perhaps:
The reality show, if it happens, would be filmed primarily in Guller's town and the restaurants around the area. A major production company in New York, which Guller cannot yet disclose, came up with the idea after producers saw some of the national coverage about Guller's town and contacted him. The producers have pitched the show to two television networks that are interested, Guller said. Once a contract is signed, casting for the show should begin soon, with filming expected to start at the beginning of next year.Guller tells the ABJ that he hopes "the television show introduces the Bikinis brand to a much wider audience."
