When one thinks of the historic Driskill Hotel on Sixth Street, one thinks of classic Texan charm. Old money. Southern class. A-list political events.
One does not especially think of John Travolta imposters and polyester, but that's exactly what was going down at the hotel during the 1970's, when the Victorian Room was a disco club called Scandals.
