It's Still Packed At Newly Christened 'La Barbecue'

John Mueller may be out of the pit at his own famous barbecue trailer, but that doesn't mean the brisket is any less delicious. Under the helm of sister LeaAnn Mueller, the South Austin establishment has officially changed its name to La Barbecue "Cuisine Texicana."
Via Facebook:

"Final name change ... John Lewis came up with the ideas...we take our BBQ serious but not ourselves."

The name doesn't exactly roll off the tongue or imply some of the best Texas barbecue in the world (newcomers might wonder if they mean Los Angeles barbecue), but it gets the job done.

Judging by the impressive lines at the trailer, new pitmaster and Frankin veteran John Lewis is keeping the customers happy. The free beer doesn't hurt, either.
