Hungry, the new food channel from YouTube, launched the Austin version of a series called "Hungry In," wherein local blogger Tolly Moseley visits with chefs and restaurateurs in town. According to the site's official description, the first episode, "Hungry In...South Lamar, Texas," takes place "South of Austin Texas," but what they're trying to say is: Moseley tours the little South Lamar strip that contains Barley Swine, Henri's Cheese & Wine and Lick Ice Creams.
She cooks side-by-side with pastry chef Kyle McKinney at Barley Swine and Anthony Sobotik at Lick and builds a cheese plate with Henri's cheesemonger Marie-Louise Friedland. Highlights include the various use of the phrases "banana yeasty," "money shot," and "a huge power tool."
