Austin's own Aaron Franklin of Franklin Barbecue is not taking anything for granted in his new BBQ With Franklin series on KLRU public television. The first episode's just a few days old, and in it, Franklin goes "shopping" for a brisket in the Franklin fridge, explaining the nuances of fatty and lean cuts and the secret to his rub, which is: a "conservative" amount of salt and pepper.
