lucy150.jpgFresh off reviewing over 100 hamburgers in three months, former Austin-American Statesman food critic Mike Sutter has renewed his commitment to gimmicky food schticks in 2012. As of January 1st, he is eating 50 eggs, because something something Cool Hand Luke. Sutter starts by reviewing Lucy's Fried Chicken's deep-fried deviled eggs-that's right, the not-the-chicken at a fried chicken restaurant that's been open all of three weeks--then Torchy's Tacos, then The Omelettry.
