Five months after Eater Austin first talked to Lenoir's Todd Duplechan and Jessica Maher, the French-inspired South Austin restaurant is opening its doors. Tonight, diners can assemble a meal from a three course, $30 prix-fixe that features: a chickpea panisse, roasted gulf shrimp and pork osso bucco among a host of other options. Lenoir will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Call for reservations.
Sneak peeks at the restaurant so far have included a snapshot of duck gumbo from Duplechan's @Lenoir_Austin twitter account, a shot from @AntonellisCHZ of that colorful chickpea panisse, and word from the Statesman's Addie Broyles that Lenoir is "serving a pho that will give Larry McGuire a run for his money."
