springdale150.jpgWe're not sure what's "torrid" about a charity fundraising dinner club featuring one of Austin's most prominent chefs, but we are sure what's potentially delicious about it. January 16th's the A Torrid Affair supper, with food by Barley Swine's Bryce Gilmore and drinks from Peché mixologist Dwayne Allen Clark. Springdale Farm hosts, and the dinner benefits Dell Children's Medical Center and the Sustainable Food Center. The six-course drink-and-dinner, which features wild boar terrine, coffee-rubbed porchetta and sweet potato ice cream, is $100. [Eaterwire]
