Mirabelle to Close, and Re-Open Under New Ownership

New, 1 comment

This morning the Statesman reported that founder Michael Vilim is selling Mirabelle to Brian O'Neill. The restaurant will close for a short period of time during the changeover. O'Neill, most recently the manager of Chez Zee , previously managed Uchi and opened both The Belmont and Max's Wine Dive.

Eater Austin reached out to Brian O'Neill for more information. A spokesperson for the new owner said:

Brian is making minimal changes in the near future. No plan to change chef or staff at this time, however, he will implement some immediate updates to the menu and the physical space. It's a revitalization that will take place in stages. Brian deeply respect the following that previous owner Michael Vilim developed over the past 12 years. The restaurant will reopen under his ownership on or around 10/10.

So, now is your chance to visit the restaurant for some original -owner Mirabelle memories. We do not recommend taking silverware as souvenirs.
