West Austin's Eleven Plates Sets a Date: September 25

Heads up, West Austin: Here comes Eleven Plates and Wine, an independent concept from the owners of Austin's Melting Pot locations. The restaurant will serve up plates both small and large by executive chef Kevin Dee and consulting chef Sean Fulford along with wines by the glass. Bonus: a sweet view from the balcony. Opens September 25, hours will be Monday through Thursday, 11:00AM to 10:00PM, and Friday through Saturday 11:00AM to 11:00PM. Here's the press release:

Austin, Texas- September 8, 2011- Mike and Kelly Swartz, owners of The Melting Pot Restaurants in Austin, are pleased to announce the opening of their own upscale casual concept, eleven plates & wine in Davenport Village. The restaurant will feature creative small plates, in addition to lunch and dinner entrees. An extensive wine list and Sunday brunch will be featured as well.

“Mike and I have been in the restaurant business together for over 15 years and felt it was time for us to utilize our shared experience and love of food and wine to create our own concept,” said Kelly Swartz. “We are extremely excited to partner with Consulting Chef Sean Fulford (Flat Creek Estate, Vin Bistro, Gilligan's) and Executive Chef Kevin Dee (Hyatt Regency Downtown, Culinary Institute of America) to create a menu that is approachable, creative and fresh.”

Adding another dining dimension to the revitalized Davenport Village in West Lake Hills, eleven plates & wine promises an exceptional experience. “Our comfortable interior, with plush leather seating, private dining room, and large bar, combined with our outdoor lounge areas, dining tables and great views will allow eleven plates & wine to be a great place to visit with friends, host celebrations or just grab a quick bite to eat,” Swartz said.
