Former Top Notch Owner Frances Stanish Dies at 75

KVUE is reporting former owner of the iconic Top Notch Hamburgers Frances Stanish has passed away at the age of 75. Stanish owned the North Austin burger restaurant with her husband Ray from 1971 to 2010, when they sold it to Kelly Chappell and Phillip Santa Cruz of Galaxy Cafe and Zocalo. Top Notch became famous nationwide after it was used as a location in the film Dazed and Confused.
