Next Food Network Star Wants Austin's 'Culinary Enthusiasts'

Want to be the next Guy Fieri? (Or, you know, the next-next-next-next-next-next-next Guy Fieri?) The Food Network is having open auditions for the eighth season of The Next Food Network Star at the Hyatt Regency Austin on September 10 from 9:00 to 1:00.

They're looking for "passionate, charismatic individuals with major culinary chops" but that can include "chefs, line cooks, home cooks, caterers and culinary enthusiasts." Go on, start brushing up on that catch phrase.
