Fricano's Is Opening a Second Location in West Campus

Sandwiches, UT, get ready for sandwiches: Fricano's Deli has announced that they are in fact opening a second location, but it will not be on the East Side as previously rumored. Instead, they're headed to West Campus, which will provide them with a "larger seating capacity and a nice big kitchen." An opening date has not been set, but it will be sometime this fall.

The original 31st Street location will remain open, which will come as a relief to fans of the original location who had heard rumors that this was a move and not an expansion. Here's the email Paul and the gang sent out to customers:

Dear Valued Customers,

We have some very exciting news. Fricano's Deli will be opening our second location this fall. Our new deli will be just west of the intersection of Guadalupe and 24th Street. It will have a larger seating capacity and a nice big kitchen. The original location on 31st Street will remain open.

We will be working hard to maintain the feel and charm of our original location, and of course we will continue to concentrate on providing the most excellent customer service. An opening date has not been scheduled for the new location at this time, but we promise to keep you informed of our progress.

All catering and deliveries will continue as usual. Service in these areas of our business will remain a high priority. And of course, stop in the shop anytime to eat a sandwich and say hello!
