Are you sitting down? Because here are the details on Bacon, the new restaurant going into the old Screaming Goat location: focusing on their "stacked roster of flavors of bacon, from classic to cinnamon to mango habanero," Bacon will serve an all day breakfast, lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch. Also, there will (surprisingly) be vegan options and (significantly less surprisingly) screenings of Kevin Bacon movies. Coming Fall 2011.

Here's a press release:

Bacon, soon to be located at 10th and Lamar, is a venture by Jed Taylor, Zac Bryant, Ryan Reynolds and Reid Reynolds.

Open for breakfast (served all day), lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch, at Bacon, you’ll find a wide variety of good, simple food. Use the menu as a starting point. Pick an old classic or a new favorite, then make it your own. Choose from a stacked roster of flavors of bacon, from classic to cinnamon to mango habanero.

Pick your flavor and pick your temperature (we like well done). Easy as that.

Enjoy breakfast any time of day, including Bacon Waffles with the bacon cooked right in and build-your-own breakfast tacos.

Try adding avocado to the BLT and mix it up with hickory smoked or jalapeno bacon. Or tackle the 900 Grind Burger, featuring a patty made from farm-raised ground beef and ground bacon. It’s delicious.

We’ve even got bacon for people who don’t eat bacon, like the Fakin’ Bacon Salad, made with vegan bacon on a fresh spring mix, piled high with fruits and veggies.

On top of good food, we’ll have good beer and good friends. Join us for a soccer game or a movie in our parking lot. Maybe we’ll watch Footloose. Starring Kevin Bacon.

Bacon. FALL 2011.
