The Northwest Austin neighborhood of Summit Oaks is okay with the whole food trailer thing, just so long as they're not in their backyard: it's the only neighborhood in the city that has applied for optional additional regulations for mobile food vendors this year. The extra regulations dictate the hours the trucks can be open based on their distance to residential buildings; 26 areas in the city now maintain the stricter regulations.
