Here comes Hopfields, a North Campus-area gastropub opening later this summer. Owned by Bay and Lindsay Anthon, Hopfields will focus on beers (although they'll also pour "savory drinks"), and will serve "French-style street food," by which they mean "we are not serving fancy French 'haute cuisine.'"
Lindsay's mother Connie Zuloaga will be running the kitchen. Zuloaga is from France and many of the dishes, which include things like savory crepes, pissaladiere, and a tarte of the day, come from recipes that have been in her family for generations. Check for updates on their progress during the buildout on their construction blog.
