Hoover's to Grow Healthier Home-Cooking on the East Side

Here's a video of Hoover Alexander (of Hoover's fame) talking about his new project, Soular Foods Garden. Located at 12th and Waller, Soular Foods Garden was designed to "bridge the gap between home style, home-cooking and healthy, nutritious, from-the-garden food." Alexander says vegetables from the garden, which is a collaboration between Hoover's and Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church, will be used "as a laboratory to do specials for the restaurant" (healthy dishes at Hoover's!) and as well as an educational center.
