Above, signs of progress on the new pit at Franklin Barbecue, which has been dubbed "Choochoo." Just last week, barbecue newcomer Live Oak Barbecue teased the East Eleventh den of brisket with their "You can get here after we open!" slogan, but it seems that the days of getting to Franklin early in order to avoid missing out on their notoriously limited supply are numbered.
